Basic Course Molecular Methods in Microbiology - Course E22
This course conveys the essential molecular biology work techniques required in a modern microbiological lab.
Starting off with a comprehensive introduction to molecular biology, the most important techniques for analysis and characterization of micro-organisms are explained step by step in theory and practice.
The program features:
- Specific sampling
- Techniques of nucleic acid isolation (DNA/RNA)
- Conventional PCR and real time PCR analysis
- Further molecular analysis methods (e.g. sequencing, hybridization techniques)
- Data base research and data analysis
No special previous knowledge is required for this introductory course.
